What is RCSZilla?

RCSZilla is a web-based messaging platform that lets you send SMS and WhatsApp messages to your contacts directly from your Android phone. You log in from any browser, build your contacts and campaigns, and your registered Android device delivers the messages over your own SIM card — no third-party SMS gateway required. You can also connect external SMS provider APIs (Twilio, Vonage, etc.) as an alternative to device-based sending.

Can I log in with Google or Apple?

Yes. The registration and login pages offer "Continue with Google" and "Continue with Apple" in addition to email/password login.

How do I add my Android phone as a device?

Accepted Answer

In the Devices section click "+ Add Device", give it a name, and a QR code dialog will appear. Open the RCSZilla app on your phone, tap the QR scan button, and point the camera at the QR. The device registers automatically. Alternatively, type the 8-character token shown under the QR into the app's API Password field and tap Login.

What variables can I use in messages?

{name}, {phone}, {company}, {date}, {time}, {custom_1}, {custom_2}. For email templates you can also use {email}. The platform shows a live preview with the first recipient's data before you send.

Can I schedule a message to send later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In step 4 of the wizard choose "Schedule" instead of "Send Now" and pick a date and time. The message is added to the queue with the scheduled timestamp and will be sent when the time arrives.

Question 6

What happens to blacklisted numbers when I send?

Accepted Answer

They are automatically skipped. The system shows how many recipients were skipped due to blacklisting.

Question 7

Can I pick which device or SIM to use when sending?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When sending via the SMS via Device channel you can choose "Any device (first available)" or select a specific device. For dual-SIM devices you can also specify SIM 1 or SIM 2.

How do I import contacts in bulk?

Accepted Answer

Go to Contacts → Import. You can upload a CSV, XLSX, or XLS file (max 10 MB), or paste a Google Sheets share URL. After uploading, a field-mapping step lets you match your file's columns to the correct contact fields. Duplicate phone numbers are skipped automatically.
